The DOJ’s “fight against hate” sounds like a Left-wing, Orwellian, Woke war on legit political speech (in some cases). In other cases, there are lunatics that just hate others, any and all religions. As long as they’re not violent they’re free to stew in their own juices.

You can hate the Pope if you want. You can hate Catholics if you want. You’re dumb if you do. Just don’t hurt anyone. And most of all, don’t hate/hurt yourself….
