If the cross is a sign of oppression, what are we to do with the legion of American soldiers’ graves adorned with crosses who died liberating the suffering and oppressed from Germany’s concentration camps and Russia’s Gulags? Rip the crosses off the graves?

Or, perhaps, the majority can keep our crosses and the minority of angry trouble-makers can find another country of their liking. And don’t let the door…
