If you’re a Zionist, in the strict sense of the meaning, wanting a homeland for the Jews, go for it. I’m down. I don’t have a problem with it. But don’t impose the whole, larger Zionist agenda on everyone else as a universal moral imperative. Much less a Christian one. Respect the human rights, constitutional rights and dignity of others.
I don’t believe in the arrival of the Jewish messiah outside of the second coming of Christ. That’s not anti-Semitic or replacement theology. Don’t impose veritable worship of the secular state of Israel as a New Testament-sanctioned manifest destiny (that is, you must bless everything the government of Israel does or you will be cursed).
Avoid both utopianism and hyper-vigilant, protectionist excesses. For instance, trying to control everything, especially free speech, because you feel threatened. Respect traditional forms of Christianity: Catholic, Eastern Orthodox…
Respect the views of pious Jews.
For every one of your bad actions there is a potential, justified reaction.
Thank you!
