God is the author of history and Jesus Christ is the King of the Universe–the Alpha and Omega. “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” Jesus is the Word made flesh…
“Christ is King (Sovereign)” is not anti-Semitic, like some of Ben Shapiro’s cohorts at The Daily Wire believe.
“The Social Kingship of Christ refers to the Christian doctrine that Jesus Christ—not just as Savior, but as universal King—holds authority over all realms of human society: individuals, families, laws, governments, and nations.”
That Christ is King!
The Jews reject Jesus as the Messiah and the Zionists await the coming of a different Messiah.
In 1904, Pope Pius X famously told Theodor Herzl: “We cannot sanction [Zionism]…the Jews have not recognized our Lord…”
Judaism gave us the Ten Commandments. Incomplete Truth. Good!
Christianity gave us the fulfillment of the Old Testament, incorporating the Ten Commandments, the New Testament and Jesus’ admonition to love your neighbor as yourself. Complete(d) Truth incorporating the Gentiles. Better!
By ignoring the Social Kingship of Christ does one implicitly reject the cure for much of our civil immorality and the State’s mandate of the people and by the people to promote Christian virtue and restrain anti-Christian vice, as our Founding Fathers advocated?
They never meant for the government not to be influenced by Christianity, they meant for the government not to choose one Christian denomination over the other (the true separation of Church and State). They certainly didn’t advocate for an Islamic Caliphate or Sharia Law. Nor did they advocate Godless Marxism and communism–Nor the separation of Christian moral values from the State. That is, the Social Kingship of Christ.
Then again, Levin is Jewish, not Christian. And he supports theologically-errant Christian Zionists Like Pastor Hagee “The Meatball with Legs.”
Does Mark support the Jewish Noahide Laws? That would be implicitly anti-Christian in that Christianity is seen as idolatrous, since Christians believe in a Triune/Tripartite God: God the Father is not the Son or Holy Spirit; the Son is not the Father or the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is not the Son or Father–yet all three are one God (the authentic non-dualism).
In the second video below Sam Shamoun gives a different take on what the Bible says about who and what is Israel is, political & religious Zionism and the compatibility of differing religious world views.
Mark Levin has a lot of good things to say. He’s worthy of consideration on a lot of issues and sheds some practical light on topics like Marxism and the demented Liberals trashing our country. But why stop there…? If you evoke Judeo Christianity, why not keep the Christianity side authentic and traditional? Or, at least allow Christians to.
Or, perhaps, Christianity should be reinterpreted in terms of Dispensational Protestantism to make some people (the fringe religious elements on both sides) happy?
But isn’t this syncretism problematic? Perhaps, just as problematic as Marxism because it’s a neo-Liberation Theology? One that liberates society from the Social Kingship of Christ in the name of a neo-Americanism divorced from its founding spirit and precepts 1) New Testament Biblical Language & Moral Foundations; 2) Virtue, Providence, and Civic Morality–in favor of a Judeo-Christianity taken out of context? That is, one limited to unlimited Christian support for the modern, secular state of Israel and Zionism (identity politics)…or else you’re anti-Semitic?
Isn’t that a violation of one’s moral conscience and religious beliefs?
Do I support Israel? Yes, in a general sense. I also support an ethnic Jewish state. Or, any state that wants to preserve its ethnic identity (nationality: borders, language, culture, history, traditions, law, economy): be it Israel, Ireland, France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Colombia or whomever. Within reasonable and historical limits.
When it comes to Judeo-Christianity let’s focus on what unites us and what we have in common: “Belief in one transcendent God: shared scriptural heritage; justice, compassion, charity, the inherent dignity of every human being, and moral responsibility.” While respecting the traditional belief in the Social Kingship of Christ (as not anti-Semitic) among Christians and not just paying Christianity lip service, while trying use and abuse it for one’s own socio-political ends.
However, I also support the right of Catholics to Proselytize and use logic, reason, love, theology, philosophy and example (human action) to convert any non-Christian country to a Christian one, preserve our own Christian heritage and resist tyrannies such as communism, fascism, neo-pagan Globalism, Transhumanism and Post-Humanism.
Does that answer your questions?
