That was a very good, lengthy letter but it’s open to some interpretation… It’s contains good questions but it also contains statements.
Sure, he’s lecturing Netanyahu on how Israel can improve its image but he might also be leveling some accusations in there too, but they’re couched as questions to be less offensive.
For instance, aid and technology to the United States. Charlie didn’t answer the question, he asked where is it? Where’s Israeli border technology to help America secure its borders? Or, did I misread that?
Charlie answers some questions but leaves others that should be answered unanswered. Maybe Israel doesn’t have acceptable answers to some of these questions. Maybe they do. I’m surprised Charlie didn’t offer the answers himself. Perhaps he doesn’t know the answers and wanted Netanyahu to answer them for him.
One thing is obvious, though. Charlie cared about Israel although he might have found its leadership less than palatable toward the end.
