Muggeridge, in my opinion, was the greatest journalist of the 20th century. A fascinating guy that rubbed elbows with some historic figures. He was funny as hell too, and eventually converted to Catholicism.
He was responsible for introducing Mother Teresa of Calcutta to the West with his book “Something Beautiful for God.”
Glad Savage quoted this anti-communist giant. I think he would enjoy Muggeridge’s book “A Third Testament.” Very apropos for these Orwellian, communist times. It’s probably hard to find an original copy, but I’ll loan him mine if he can’t score one. I think there’s reprints on Amazon.com.
