Good video. With some useful insights
On the topic various religions, check out Malachi Martin’s book “The New Castle.”
Mother Teresa seemingly lost her faith. This happens in traditional Catholic mysticism. It’s called The Dark Night of the soul, or a variation thereof. Or variations of the theme throughout the Christian’s life. Hers apparently lasted a long time.
Good seemingly withdraws and the Christian is left arid, desolate, in the spiritual desert clawing forward only on the memory that there was once belief, faith. Some would call it “pure faith.”
I think at the end of her life it all came together in a grand illumination.
The three stages of spiritual growth for the mystic being, purgation, illumination and unification. Not necessarily in that order.
Pretty brutal when put into practice. A sort of living martyrdom…of faith?
