Could Trump have instituted the Insurrection Act? Not after the 6th of January. Perhaps prior to the Capitol incident given the body of evidence showing foreign interference in the US election, spying on the president and the Operation Crossfire Hurricane coup attempt.
Even then, you’ve got to have the backing of the military at the top and I don’t think many of them understand the implications of Globalism and its pernicious effect on our system. Not enough to risk everything on something as tricky as stopping a soft insurrection from the Deep State.
Besides, the population as a whole really doesn’t get the larger picture. At least not enough to animate them to mount a united front to preserve the independence of our borders, language, culture, history, traditions, economy, law and military against global economic interdependence.
The spirit was willing but the logistics just weren’t there. Especially if things started to get violent and unpredictable, which inevitably they would.
The seeds have been planted for the re-discovery of traditional American values. Trump gave us a brief taste of exceptionalism once again, not merely as a throwback to better forgotten times but to whet our appetite for what could be: for the shape of things to come.
The illegitimate Biden/Harris Regime has nothing to offer but sugar-coated empty rhetoric and destructive Marxist platitudes, built on a house of lies and force fed to a largely captive audience.
