The most dangerous type of modern-day government is a paranoid Left-wing one. If they cannot trust their military, and obviously they don’t, they may panic and crack down on the nation in irrational ways based on fear.
This will create a cycle of distrust that will permeate all of society and deteriorate really quick, possibly into a full-blown authoritarian crisis.The more information that emerges about election irregularities and Deep State deception and chicanery – in the face of a failing Biden/Harris administration – the angrier more people will get.
This will only be compounded by further media assaults against Trump which will conflict with Americans’ sense of fairness. It will overshadow America’s first female president, who’ll look as ineffective and incompetent as her staff of hard-core Leftists.
Even though she may groom a powerful cabinet, they’ll be out of touch with common citizens and common sense because they’ll be beholden, cult-like, to their doctrinaire, progressive ideology. This will cause further alienation, except to the die-hards.
Trump is the most beloved President of our lifetime. You cannot change the fact that the election was highly suspect at best. The more the government tries to silence dissenters, the more the American will to resist repression and the spirit of liberty will rise.
A flash-point, or traumatic accumulation of multiple flash-points may arise as a backlash against the perception of widespread and intolerable injustice. A sustained assault on our national conscience by attacking Trump supporters as enemies of democracy will only cause further division, anger and mistrust.
Even the die-hard, middle of the road careerists, corporate sociopaths and pension chasers will finally be forced to choose sides – if only out of a sense of self or pension preservation – along with the police and intelligence services after failed directives to snitch on their co-workers and Stalin-esque ideological purges fail.
Then there are the lone wolves, possibly seeking retribution for having lost everything during a pandemic…
The curse of playing fast and loose with a free and fair election in a modern republic, and then shotgunning the impeachment crucifixion of America’s bona fide desired candidate, is that you’ll burn countless calories during interminably sleepless nights, for four years, worrying about the unintended consequences.
And no, this is not a threat or prediction. It’s bloody common sense, since…the handwriting’s on the wall!
