Interesting vision Michael had: having the face of an eagle…in the context of trials, tribulations and personal suffering. Some might even say, dark nights of the soul.

But Michael’s advice in this regard is sound: “Keep going!” Because if you look at an eagle flying in the sky, you just see him circling and circling…but gradually he is gaining altitude, almost imperceptibly, to reach new summits of illumination that follow the existential angst…

Even though the eagle’s ascent is gradual it is certain. As sure as the light of the sun follows the darkness of the storm.

As a matter of fact, I just had a little synchronicity while typing this commentary: the TV in the other room is on and I could hear a little girl singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow…”
