Why would average, patriotic Americans join a woke, Marxized military that doesn’t share their values and probably hates their guts?

The military seems more preoccupied with changing the venerable names of military bases to be less “Southern” and more inclusive of progressive historical revisionism, while bending over backwards to promote the synthetic LGBTQ+ values of the subculture and countercultural minority. In other words, the nihilists.
