I have always said if the Ukrainians are up for a spirited defense of their country give them the weapons they need. That is the Reagan doctrine and I back it. Yep. Just he gave the Contras weapons to fight the communist Sandinista scum. I’m with Sean on that.

But weapons and tactics can only be supplied in kind and quantity up to a certain point.

That point is boots on the ground and assets in the air such as would be provided in a no fly zone. Why? Because that puts the U.S. and NATO in a direct conflict with Russia and obviously should be avoided under an incompetent and dangerous admin like the Biden-Harris regime.

I don’t believe either one is equipped to defend us against a nuke strike. As a matter of fact, this radical, America-hating regime might even surrender.

On the other hand, Ukraine is starting to resemble the Spanish Civil war with other countries using it as a proxy to wage their own conflicts & vendettas.

I believe the West and Ukraine provoked Russia with talk of NATO admission. Of course, this is as intolerable to them as having Mexico and Canada reach an agreement with China to have missiles on the border of the United States.

Unfortunately, the corporate sociopaths in power – lacking empathy – fail to see the obvious point of view of another superpower, to their detriment. Some factions of the Military Industrial Complex undoubtedly want war for obvious reasons also. What’s obvious is pretty obvious…

Everyday this war goes on more innocent lives are being lost and more buildings, some of them historic, are being destroyed.

I’d like to see as peaceful a resolution as possible as quickly as possible but at this point, it’s pretty improbable short of a miracle. Then again, the Pope in unison with man bishops of the Catholic Church did consecrate Russia and Ukraine to Mary. Whether it was acceptable to the divine (providence) is another story…

Zelensky’s got to stop trying to put the U.S. and NATO in direct conflict with Russia. Biden needs to get on the phone with Zelensky and start trying to negotiate at least a real ceasefire and plan of Ukrainian self-preservation

I like Tulsi but she’s not answering Sean’s question. She, like Col. McGregor and Jim Rickards seem to believe Russia is undefeatable. It’s tempting to think that way given the stats. But what is victory for Russian anyway? What victory is for Ukraine is to kick the Russians out asap. But even if that happens, if Ukraine ends up trying to join NATO again Russia would be right back at war.

There needs to be a compromise, obviously. If Russia gets blown off the map, as Sean says, so does the United States. It’s called Mutually Assured Destruction. This leave China to pick up the radioactive pieces.

This is simply intolerable.

Know this though, in the fog of war, and with kooks like the Azov Battalion and some renegade Russian lunatics wreaking havok, false flags and escalations through devious attacks on civilians are possible…

There is no easy answer. Everyone’s committed to conflict. Who benefits from prolonging the destruction?

If it was America though, we’d be fighting to the last man to expel the invaders. So do the math on defense of your country. It’s an honorable and patriotic thing. But what good is it if you inherit only dust, ashes and tombstones upon victory?
