This priest is from South America with some pretty liberal views. Since my mom worked at the Catholic Church with him (at the time St. Jerome) I asked her to ask him what he thought of Liberation Theology (Marxist/Communist heresy). I told her I bet he defends it, which he did. He basically said Liberation Theology is not like it used to be it’s good now.
When my sister’s first son was born with heart problems and dying in the hospital Fr. Andreas came down and did the baptism. Turns out it’s invalid. He used the communal word “we” baptize you instead of “I” baptize you…
Now we’re wondering what to do. Do we go to his grave site and do a baptism by desire? What the hell do we do?
When my mom complained that one of the lesbians that used to do a reading of the bible during mass was up there kissing her girlfriend on the altar my mom was basically told to shut up and be more tolerant.
Needless to say we don’t attend that church anymore.
Not only were his baptism’s invalid now other sacraments, potentially thousands, were invalid…
